By accessing or using JOBVIAN ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JOBVIAN. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

JOBVIAN is an AI-powered job search and CV optimisation platform. The Service enables users to:

Upload DOCX-formatted CVs which are parsed and stored securely for AI processing.

Configure automated searches that surface publicly available job listings from LinkedIn and other sources based on your preferences.

Generate tailored CV versions using AI (OpenAI GPT-4) that are optimised for specific job descriptions and ATS systems.

Manage and track your job applications through a personal pipeline dashboard.

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@jobvian.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Each account is for a single individual user. You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use in the context of your own genuine job search.

You may not use the Service to:

Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service beyond the intended functionality.

Generate CVs or content that materially misrepresents your qualifications, experience, or identity.

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our written consent.

Upload CVs or documents containing malware, offensive material, or content that violates any applicable law.

You retain full ownership of the CVs and personal data you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant JOBVIAN a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Optimised CV versions generated by our AI systems are produced for your personal use. You may use, edit, and distribute them for your own job applications. JOBVIAN does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs derived from your content.

The JOBVIAN name, logo, software, design, and documentation are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.

A free tier is available with limited features. No credit card is required to access the free plan.

Paid plans (Pro, Elite) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.

If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment by contacting hello@jobvian.com. This applies to first-time paid subscriptions only.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment remains outstanding, your account may be downgraded to the free tier.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including OpenAI, AWS, Stripe, and Apify. Your use of the Service is also subject to the relevant terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

Job listings are retrieved from publicly available LinkedIn pages using automated data collection. JOBVIAN is not affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation. We do not access your personal LinkedIn account and do not represent that all job listings are current or accurate.

The Service is a tool to assist with your job search. JOBVIAN does not guarantee job interviews, employment offers, or any specific outcomes. Results vary depending on many factors outside our control. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

AI-generated CV content is produced to assist you and should be reviewed carefully before use. JOBVIAN is not responsible for inaccuracies in AI-generated content or for how employers evaluate your application.

We strive to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JOBVIAN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@jobvian.com or using the account deletion option in settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you access the Service from outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all locations.
